Formal dual customs clearance service is available for the whole line. Leveraging customs clearance advantages of key ports Bratislava and Košice and complying with Slovak customs declaration standards, we provide two mature clearance modes covering all delivery scenarios including e-commerce stock replenishment, private delivery and commercial consignee receipt:
DDP Tax-Inclusive Channel: Covers full customs clearance, duties, VAT and all related taxes. Clients do not need to handle local Slovak customs procedures or destination-country tax matters. One-stop service until final receipt, compliant and hassle-free with zero operational pressure, suitable for most cross-border e-commerce shipments.
DDU Tax-Exclusive Channel: Offers dual customs clearance for Slovakia plus nationwide end delivery. Destination duties, VAT and all relevant taxes shall be borne by consignees. It fits local enterprises for self-tax filing and compliant VAT deferral operations. Customs data is traceable with high compliance, enabling free movement of goods within the EU.
Core Delivery Scenarios: Supports delivery to mainstream overseas warehouses such as Amazon FBA warehouses, local e-commerce warehouses and third-party overseas stocking warehouses in Slovakia. It also covers nationwide addresses including local corporate premises, industrial parks, private residences and non-e-commerce warehouses with no blind spots.
Based on Slovakia’s geographical advantage as a Central-Eastern European hub and mature multi-modal transport system, we launch four main channels including air, truck, rail and sea transport according to clients’ lead time and budget. The channels feature tiered transit time, stable capacity and prominent cost advantages to meet diverse shipping demands:
Air Freight + Final Delivery: Total transit time 5–12 days. Express transport channel focusing on fast replenishment, suitable for urgent orders, emergency restocking for out-of-stock goods and expedited shipment of small samples. Efficient airport customs clearance and timely logistics updates.
Trucking + Final Delivery: Total transit time 25–30 days. Cost-effective main channel with stable lead time and low cost, suitable for regular bulk e-commerce stocking and daily foreign trade shipments, quickly covering neighbouring EU countries such as Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria.
Railway + Final Delivery: Total transit time 30–35 days. Our flagship channel for Slovakia. Supported by stable China-Europe Railway Express capacity, it is barely affected by weather and port congestion with low inspection rate and few delays. Ideal for bulk general cargo shipments and offers better cost performance than ordinary European dedicated lines.
Sea Freight + Final Delivery: Total transit time 45–50 days. Low-cost economical channel relying on transshipment resources at major European ports. Ample vessel space and affordable freight for large, heavy goods and bulk non-urgent stocking shipments to Slovakia.
Acceptable Cargo Types: Regular general goods, common battery-powered products and mainstream cross-border e-commerce goods are accepted, complying with local Slovak import regulations.
Weight Range: 0.5KG – 3000KG, covering small samples, medium & large single packages, bulk heavy cargo and full consignments, meeting both scattered e-commerce parcels and bulk foreign trade shipments.
The last-mile network of Slovakia Dedicated Line adopts premium local European logistics resources and Slovakia’s dense domestic delivery network, featuring nationwide coverage, balanced delivery, high signature rate and extremely low loss rate. Our primary delivery partners include DPD, DHL, UPS and professional local trucking teams in Slovakia. The optimal delivery method will be intelligently matched based on cargo dimension, weight and delivery zone.
Delivery Coverage: Covers major cities including Bratislava, Košice, Nitra, Žilina as well as commercial zones, industrial parks, private residences and overseas warehouse addresses nationwide.
Remote Area Rules: Slovakia has sound logistics infrastructure with highly standardized nationwide delivery. Remote locations are rare. Only a few mountainous and border points incur remote surcharges. Consult us before shipment to avoid extra costs.
DPD serves as the primary last-mile carrier for Slovakia line. Parcels exceeding dimension, weight or girth limits will incur extra handling fees or be rejected directly. Unified standards are as follows:

Full-cycle visual tracking for Slovakia dedicated line. Real-time tracking of cargo transit route, logistics milestones and cargo status is available from domestic pickup, mainline transport, port customs inspection to last-mile delivery and final signature. One tracking number for the whole shipment with transparent and timely information update for clients to monitor cargo status.
Slovakia features mature and standardized customs clearance system as a core Central-Eastern European clearance hub. Customs clearance for regular goods remains stable with very low risk of secondary customs clearance. Secondary clearance may rarely occur when cargo transits other EU countries. All resulting fees including customs duty, warehousing, return and redelivery charges shall be borne by the shipper.
For shipments under DDU tax-exclusive mode, clients must provide valid local VAT and EORI numbers. Formal Slovak customs declaration cannot proceed without compliant tax IDs. Full set of compliant documents must be submitted strictly in accordance with our requirements for duty deferral application. A 3% duty handling fee will be charged for orders without prepaid duties.
Duty deferral service is not 100% guaranteed. If deferral application fails, customs clearance will automatically switch to duty payment mode. Final tax amount is subject to Slovak customs tax invoice. Deferral tax ID must fully match the declared tax ID, and product sales links must align with VAT number. Sales links cannot be modified arbitrarily before customs clearance. For DDU shipments and PVA deferral goods, inspection fees arising from customs examination will be charged at actual cost. Do not place orders if you disagree with this clause.
We shall not be liable for compensation of transit delays caused by force majeure, including but not limited to cancelled flights/vessels/trains, port track change & congestion, extreme weather, customs inspection in domestic or overseas ports and EU policy adjustments.
Returns caused by non-logistics reasons such as consignee refusal, Amazon warehouse overstock in Slovakia, invalid delivery address, unsuccessful receipt or incorrect consignee information, all return fees, redelivery charges and warehousing detention fees shall be borne by shipper at actual cost.
Stable transport for general goods. Air freight transit time 5–14 days with express and standard air options for on-time quality delivery.
Acceptable sensitive goods: consolidation shipments, medical products, cosmetics, perfume, adult products, food, health supplements, beverages, electric vehicles, liquid & powder goods with commercial packaging (white powder not accepted).
Battery-powered goods are acceptable, including electric bicycles with built-in batteries.
Oversized & overweight goods can be shipped via dual-clearance tax-inclusive trucking to door.
High compensation guarantee for cargo loss, damage or failed delivery attributable to our side to protect clients’ interests.

Customized logistics plans for single shipments are available for special cargo types, oversize/overweight goods, bulk custom orders, project cargo and complex logistics demands to meet personalized shipping requirements one-on-one.
