Two mature clearance options are offered to cover full-scenario delivery needs including e-commerce stock replenishment, private delivery and corporate consignee receipt in Bulgaria:
(1) DDP Tax-Inclusive Channel: Covers full customs clearance, customs duties, VAT and all related taxes. Customers do not need to handle local Bulgarian customs procedures or destination-country tax matters. One-stop service until receipt of goods, compliant and hassle-free with zero operational pressure, suitable for most cross-border e-commerce shipments.
(2) DDU Non-Tax-Inclusive Channel: Provides dual customs clearance in Bulgaria plus nationwide last-mile delivery. Customs duties, VAT and other taxes incurred in the destination country shall be borne by the consignee. It meets the demands of local enterprises for independent tax filing and compliant VAT/IOSS deferral. Customs records are traceable with strong compliance, enabling the free movement of goods within the EU.
(3) Core Delivery Scenarios: Exclusive delivery to mainstream overseas warehouses such as Amazon FBA warehouses, local e-commerce warehouses and third-party stocking warehouses in Bulgaria; also covers nationwide addresses including local corporate premises, industrial parks, private residences, non-e-commerce warehouses and remote townships in Bulgaria, with no blind spots for delivery.

(1) Air Freight + Last-Mile Delivery: Overall transit time 5–12 days, ultra-fast transport channel. Benefiting from efficient customs clearance at Sofia International Airport with fast inspection upon arrival and high transshipment efficiency, it focuses on efficient restocking, ideal for urgent orders, emergency replenishment for stockout and expedited shipment of small samples, with efficient airport customs clearance and timely logistics updates.
(2) Trucking + Last-Mile Delivery: Overall transit time 25–30 days, cost-effective primary channel with stable lead time and low cost. Supported by mature land road network across the Balkan region, it is suitable for regular bulk e-commerce stocking and daily foreign trade shipments to Bulgaria. It can quickly reach surrounding countries including Romania, Serbia, Greece and Türkiye, boasting outstanding advantages in regional cross-border transshipment.
(3) Railway + Last-Mile Delivery: Overall transit time 30–35 days, advantageous channel for Bulgaria. Supported by stable capacity of China-Europe Railway Express, cargo reaches core logistics parks in Bulgaria directly via land routes. It is barely affected by weather and port congestion, featuring low inspection rates and few delays. Suitable for bulk general cargo and regular mass shipments, it delivers better cost performance than ordinary Balkan dedicated lines.
(4) Sea Freight + Last-Mile Delivery: Overall transit time 45–50 days, low-cost core channel. Backed by resources of major Black Sea deep-water ports Varna and Burgas with large throughput, sufficient direct sailing space and low freight rates. Suitable for large/heavy cargo and non-time-sensitive bulk stocking shipments to Bulgaria.
(1) Acceptable Cargo: Regular general goods, various common battery-powered products. Mainstream cross-border e-commerce goods can be accepted normally, meeting most export cargo requirements for Bulgaria and complying with local import regulatory provisions and relevant compliance requirements of Bulgaria. (2) Weight Range: 0.5KG–3000KG, covering small samples, single medium/large parcels, bulk heavy cargo and full bulk shipments, serving both small & bulk shipments and meeting demands for scattered e-commerce parcels and full foreign trade consignments.
The last-mile service of Bulgaria Dedicated Line adopts premium leading European local logistics resources together with dense and well-established domestic delivery network in Bulgaria. It features nationwide high coverage, balanced delivery, high signature rate and extremely low parcel loss rate. Our main partner carriers include DPD, DHL, UPS, local professional delivery system and domestic trucking teams in Bulgaria. The optimal delivery method will be intelligently matched according to cargo dimension, weight and delivery region.
Delivery Coverage: Fully covers major Bulgarian cities including Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas and Ruse, as well as commercial districts, industrial parks, private residences and overseas warehouse addresses nationwide; compliant delivery is available to all townships and remote counties across Bulgaria.
Remote Area Rules: Urban areas of central Bulgaria enjoy sound logistics infrastructure and high delivery standardization. Remote surcharges only apply to remote villages, mountainous regions and border locations. Customers may consult us in advance before shipment to avoid extra costs.
DPD is the primary last-mile carrier for Bulgaria Dedicated Line. Parcels exceeding dimension, weight or girth limits will incur extra handling fees or be rejected directly. Unified implementation standards are as follows:
Dimension Standards Regular compliant dimension: Longest side ＜100cm, second longest side ＜60cm, third longest side ＜60cm; Overage surcharge: Parcels beyond regular limits but not reaching rejection threshold will be charged RMB350 handling fee per parcel; Hard rejection rule: Any single side ≥160cm will be rejected unconditionally.
Weight Standards Regular compliant weight: Actual weight ≤30KG (24KG for some countries), volumetric weight ≤35KG; Overage surcharge: RMB350 handling fee per parcel if actual weight exceeds 30KG (24KG) or volumetric weight exceeds 35KG; Hard rejection rule: Actual weight ≥40KG will be rejected unconditionally.
Girth Limits Compliant total of three sides: Length + Width + Height ＜2.3m; Compliant girth: Length + 2×(Width + Height) ＜3m; Overage girth fee: If girth exceeds 3m, fees will be charged on an actual cost basis (200–1500 GBP, subject to the official invoice of the carrier for the current period); Hard rejection rule: Girth (Length + 2×(Width + Height)) ≥400cm will be rejected unconditionally.
Full-process visible tracking is available for Bulgaria dedicated line. From domestic pickup, trunk transportation, port customs inspection, last-mile delivery to final signature, customers can query cargo transit routes, logistics milestones and shipment status in real time under one tracking number with transparent information and timely updates, allowing customers to monitor cargo status anytime.
(1) As a core customs clearance and transshipment hub on the Balkan Peninsula, Bulgaria implements strict supervision on customs declaration. Ordinary goods carry relatively high risks of secondary customs clearance. Secondary customs clearance may occur for local clearance and cargo transiting other EU countries. If secondary clearance occurs, all related fees including customs clearance fees, warehousing fees, return and redelivery fees shall be borne by the customer.
(2) For shipments under DDU non-tax-inclusive mode, customers must provide valid own VAT, EORI and IOSS declaration numbers. Formal Bulgarian customs declaration cannot proceed without compliant tax IDs. For tax deferral application, full sets of compliant documents must be submitted strictly in accordance with company requirements. Orders without prepaid duties will be charged a 3% duty handling fee.
(3) Tax / IOSS deferral service cannot be guaranteed 100% successful. If the deferral application fails, customs clearance will automatically switch to immediate tax payment mode. The final tax amount is subject to the Bulgarian customs tax assessment. The tax ID used for deferral must be fully consistent with the declared tax ID, and product sales links must precisely match the VAT/IOSS number. Sales links cannot be modified arbitrarily before customs clearance. For DDU shipments and tax-deferred goods, all inspection fees incurred during customs examination are charged on an actual cost basis. Do not place orders if you cannot accept this rule.
(4) We shall not be liable for compensation of transit delays caused by force majeure, including but not limited to flight/vessel/train cancellation, port track change congestion, extreme weather, customs inspection at domestic and overseas ports, EU policy adjustment and traffic control in Balkan region.
(5) For returned shipments caused by consignee refusal, Amazon warehouse overstock in Bulgaria, invalid delivery address, unsuccessful signature, incorrect consignee information and other non-logistics reasons, all costs including return fees, redelivery fees and warehousing detention charges shall be borne by the shipper and settled on an actual cost basis.
(1) Stable transportation for general goods. Air freight transit time ranges from 5 to14 days. Express air freight and standard air freight options available with on-time and high-quality delivery.
(2) Acceptable sensitive goods, consolidated shipments, medical products, cosmetics, perfume, adult products, food, health supplements, beverages, electric vehicles, liquid & powder goods with commercial packaging (white powder not accepted).
(3) Acceptable battery-powered goods and electric bicycles with batteries.
(4) Door-to-door trucking service with dual customs clearance & tax inclusive for overlength, overweight and oversized commodities.
(5) In case of cargo loss, damage or failed delivery due to our liability, we provide solid compensation guarantee to protect customers’ interests.
(6) Every step of our shipments can be clearly tracked for status and location, setting the industry benchmark for transparent service and cargo tracking among dedicated logistics lines.
