SINO Logistics South Africa Dedicated Line is a one-stop cross-border logistics solution for cross-border e-commerce merchants and foreign trade enterprises. It integrates air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, door delivery / warehouse self-pickup and multi-warehouse handover, catering to shipment demands of different transit times, cargo types and delivery scenarios. The standardized and categorized business terms are as follows:
Special Reminder: Prohibited goods are strictly forbidden to enter our network. Violators will be fined a minimum of RMB 10,000 per shipment. In serious cases, goods will be confiscated and freight will not be refunded. Please provide the remittance slip upon payment. The remittance slip is the only payment receipt recognized by our company!
Sea Freight DDP Sea freight quotation is for self-pickup at the warehouse in Johannesburg. Door delivery is available with extra delivery fees. Quotation excludes delivery fees, return fees, address amendment and other miscellaneous charges. If the consignee refuses payment, all charges will be transferred to the shipper.
Air Freight DDP Full-service Air Freight DDP with dual customs clearance and tax inclusive. Quotation covers customs clearance fees, duties and delivery fees. Fees for remote areas shall be confirmed separately. (1) Delivery Scenarios: Delivery to e-commerce overseas warehouses, non-e-commerce warehouses, local South African corporate addresses and residential addresses. Sea freight defaults to self-pickup at Johannesburg warehouse; door delivery can be applied for at extra cost. (2) Address Amendment & Cash on Delivery: Destination address amendment handling fee: RMB 200 per shipment. For collect shipments or South African cash-on-delivery service, a 5% handling fee on the total amount applies. (3) Document Requirements: A complete detailed packing list shall be submitted before shipment, including commodity name, package quantity, packing details, cargo weight, declared value, volume and HS code. For air freight, material, usage, full name of overseas consignee, contact number and delivery address must also be supplemented.
Total transit time: 10‑15 days after aircraft loading, quoted as door-to-door air freight price.
Warehouse Handover Note: Quotation is based on cargo delivered to Guangzhou warehouse. Cargo delivered to Shenzhen warehouse incurs an extra transit fee of RMB 0.5/KG, minimum charge RMB150 per shipment. On-site pickup available in Pearl River Delta, pickup fee upon separate inquiry. Transit fee for Yiwu warehouse reimbursed on actual basis.
Air Freight Billing Rules:
Chargeable weight is the greater value between actual gross weight and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight (kg) = Length(cm) × Width(cm) × Height(cm) ÷ 6000, rounded up to the nearest 1KG.
Maximum 5 declared commodity names per shipment. RMB30 extra for each additional commodity name.
Separate customs declaration: RMB350 per shipment, RMB100 for each extra page. For battery-powered goods with separate declaration, an additional China-Hong Kong transit fee of RMB1/KG applies, minimum charge RMB100.
Minimum charge: General goods / battery goods minimum RMB500 per shipment; sensitive goods minimum RMB800 per shipment.
Cargo volume and weight are subject to actual measurements upon warehouse entry. Please verify the warehouse receipt data promptly and raise objections as early as possible.
Air Freight Oversize & Overweight Rules: Single package over 70KG or single side over 1.2M: oversize surcharge RMB250 per shipment (max 10 pcs per shipment; RMB25 extra per piece for excess quantity). Single side over 1.8M: surcharge RMB500 per shipment (max 10 pcs per shipment; RMB35 extra per piece for excess quantity). Cargo must be packed with 9CM pallet feet. Forklift and crane fees reimbursed on actual basis. Please inquire separately for oversize & overweight cargo before shipment.
Estimated total transit time around 45 days after vessel departure, for self-pickup at Johannesburg warehouse.

Air Freight DDP supports door delivery across South Africa; remote areas must be confirmed before shipment. Sea freight defaults to self-pickup at Johannesburg warehouse. Paid door delivery can be arranged for commercial addresses, residential premises and e-commerce warehouses.
Air freight rejects counterfeit goods, liquids, gases, food, medicines, fragile goods and all types of dangerous goods. Tobacco, arms and narcotics are strictly prohibited. Detected shipments will be seized and reported to police.
All prohibited goods are forbidden. Once discovered, minimum fine RMB10,000, goods confiscated and freight non-refundable.
Actual goods must match declared commodity names. The shipper shall bear all consequences and costs arising from misdeclaration, concealed cargo and infringing goods. Compensation claims may be filed in serious cases.
(1) Air freight utilizes local South African logistics resources for direct door delivery. Delivery conditions and surcharges for remote zones shall be confirmed before shipment. (2) Sea freight defaults to self-pickup at Johannesburg warehouse. Paid door delivery can be applied for. Forklift and crane fees for extra-long and overweight cargo are reimbursed on actual basis. (3) All return and extra charges caused by consignee refusal shall be borne by the shipper.
Cartons must be wrapped with woven bags externally. For single packages over 70KG, wooden cases must be fitted with forklift feet and hinges. Bare cargo will be rejected by the warehouse. Paid warehouse packaging service: RMB35 handling fee per shipment (within 5 pcs), RMB5 per extra piece.
Wrap goods with woven bags on original packaging and fasten with double cross woven straps. Charges:
Packaging handling fee: RMB35 per shipment (within 5 pcs, RMB5 per extra piece);
Carton: RMB15 each; woven bag: RMB5 each;
Unhinged wooden case opening fee: RMB50 each;
Outsourced wooden case, pallet foot and hinge fabrication: RMB50‑300, quote separately.
Warehouse Storage Fee: Storage fee applies if goods are stored in our warehouse for more than 5 days: RMB0.1/KG, minimum RMB10 per day.
No compensation for damaged fragile goods. Please reinforce packaging by yourself. High-value goods are recommended to be insured independently.
Sea freight insurance: If insured via our company, premium rate 3‰ of declared value for general goods, minimum RMB300 per shipment; special goods quote separately.
Air freight insurance: If insured via our company, premium rate 3‰ of declared value for general goods, minimum RMB150 per shipment; special goods quote separately.
High-value goods such as wigs and electronic products are strongly recommended to purchase insurance.
The whole logistics journey and real-time cargo status can be tracked. Goods can be dispatched only after payment received when delivered by customer to our warehouse.
In case of cargo loss or clearance failure, compensation equals twice the freight paid, freight non-refundable. Maximum compensation shall not exceed USD 1,000, settled by freight deduction.
Compensation will not be accepted if declared information mismatches actual goods, damage caused by inherent product quality or product certification issues.
No compensation for cargo damage or loss caused by force majeure such as war and natural disasters. No compensation for transit delays from flight or customs inspection hold-up.
For customs inspection of wig shipments, loss within 10 wigs is exempt from compensation.
Once goods are handed over to our company, it is deemed acceptance of all terms.
Force Majeure Disclaimer: We shall not be liable for transit delays caused by flight cancellation, vessel schedule adjustment, port congestion, extreme weather, South African customs inspection, domestic or overseas security detention.
(1) The shipper must truthfully declare commodity name, cargo value and HS code. Infringing goods, prohibited goods, misdeclaration and concealed shipment are forbidden. The shipper shall bear all liabilities and related costs. (2) Sea freight defaults to self-pickup at Johannesburg warehouse. Confirm delivery fees in advance if door delivery is required. Verify forklift and crane costs for oversize & overweight cargo beforehand. (3) No compensation for transit delays caused by force majeure including flight cancellation, sea schedule adjustment, port congestion, extreme weather, South African border inspection and domestic & overseas security detention! (4) For returns triggered by failed last-mile delivery or consignee refusal, all return handling fees and redelivery charges shall be borne by the shipper and settled on actual basis! (5) Outer cartons must be sturdy and reinforced with woven bags as required. Labels must be intact and firmly affixed. All costs arising from undeliverable shipments due to blurred, missing or damaged labels shall be borne by the shipper. For smooth customs clearance, “Made in China” mark must be clearly printed or pasted on all outer packages. (6) Air freight rates fluctuate frequently, please reconfirm quotation before shipment.
For non-standard cargo, special oversize dimensions, bulk customized logistics plans, problematic inspection orders and special cargo insurance quotation, you may submit separate inquiry per shipment.
