Formal dual customs clearance service is available throughout the line. Leveraging customs clearance advantages at core ports of Taoyuan Airport and Kaohsiung Port, our service complies with Taiwan customs declaration standards. Two mature clearance options are offered to cover full-scenario delivery needs including e-commerce stock replenishment, private delivery and corporate consignee receipt in Taiwan:
(1) DDP Tax-Inclusive Channel: Covers full customs clearance, customs duties, business tax and all related taxes. Customers do not need to handle local Taiwan customs procedures or destination-side tax matters. One-stop service until receipt of goods, compliant and hassle-free with zero operational pressure, suitable for most cross-border e-commerce shipments.
(2) DDU Non-Tax-Inclusive Channel: Provides dual customs clearance in Taiwan plus nationwide last-mile delivery. Customs duties, business tax and other taxes incurred at the destination port shall be borne by the consignee. Commercial shipments may apply for tariff reduction with an ECFA Certificate of Origin. Customs records are traceable with strong compliance. For shipments via DDU channel, the consignee must complete real-name authentication and authorization via EZ-WAY, otherwise customs clearance cannot be completed.
(3) Core Delivery Scenarios: Exclusive delivery to mainstream warehouses such as Taiwan e-commerce warehouses and third-party stocking warehouses; also covers nationwide addresses including local corporate premises, industrial parks and private residences in Taiwan, with no blind spots for delivery.
Taking advantage of the mature cross-strait multi-modal air and sea transport network, four main channels including express air freight, standard air freight, fast sea route and sea LCL consolidation are available based on customers’ timeline and budget. They feature tiered lead times, stable space allocation and prominent cost advantages to satisfy various shipping demands:
(1) Express Air Freight + Last-Mile Delivery: Overall transit time 2–4 days, ultra-fast channel. Direct flights from Shenzhen and Xiamen to Taoyuan Airport. Ideal for urgent orders, emergency restocking for stockout, small samples and high-value cargo, with efficient airport customs clearance and timely logistics updates.
(2) Standard Air Freight + Last-Mile Delivery: Overall transit time 3–5 days, primary air freight channel with ample cargo space. Suitable for bulk small-parcel e-commerce stocking and daily foreign trade shipments. Cargo with built-in batteries is accepted; high-power pure batteries require prior feasibility confirmation.
(3) Fast Sea Route + Last-Mile Delivery: Overall transit time 7–10 days, cost-effective primary channel. Cargo consolidation and transshipment via fast vessel routes balancing transit time and price. Suitable for bulk general cargo and battery-included goods, it is the mainstream choice for large-scale e-commerce stock replenishment.
(4) Sea LCL Consolidation + Last-Mile Delivery: Overall transit time 10–15 days, low-cost economical channel. Supported by direct routes departing from Xiamen and Shenzhen with ample space and low ocean freight. Suitable for large/heavy cargo, furniture and non-time-sensitive bulk stocking shipments to Taiwan. Formal customs declaration for tax rebates is supported.
(1) Acceptable Cargo: Regular general goods, accessory / built-in batteries (≤100Wh), compliant magnetized products. Branded goods require official authorization documents before shipment. Special goods such as food and cosmetics need pre-verification of qualifications to comply with local import regulatory provisions in Taiwan.Prohibited Cargo: Counterfeit infringing goods, flammable & explosive materials, powders, liquids, fresh meat, seeds, soil, medicines, products of endangered wild fauna and flora, etc. Concealment or smuggling of prohibited items is strictly forbidden. All cargo seizure and fines incurred shall be fully borne by the shipper once detected.
(2) Weight Range: 0.5KG–3000KG, covering small samples, single medium/large parcels, bulk heavy cargo and full bulk shipments, serving both small & bulk shipments and meeting demands for scattered e-commerce parcels and full foreign trade consignments. Oversized pallet cargo must be reported in advance to confirm unloading conditions.
The last-mile service of Taiwan Dedicated Line adopts premium leading local logistics resources in Taiwan, together with dense and well-established domestic delivery network. It features nationwide high coverage, balanced delivery, high signature rate and extremely low parcel loss rate. Our main partner carriers include Black Cat, Home Delivery, Kerry TJ Logistics and local professional trucking teams. The optimal delivery method will be intelligently matched according to cargo dimension, weight and delivery region.
Delivery Coverage: Fully covers major cities in Taiwan including Taipei, New Taipei, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung; also covers eastern regions such as Hualien, Taitung and Yilan. Delivery service is available for outlying islands including Penghu and Kinmen.
Remote Area Rules: Taiwan main island enjoys sound infrastructure. Remote surcharges apply to mountainous areas in Hualien and Taitung, as well as outlying islands such as Penghu and Kinmen with extended delivery lead time. Customers may consult us in advance before shipment to avoid extra costs. Delivery to restricted locations such as military camps, airport controlled zones and prisons is unavailable.
Oversized, overweight and pallet cargo must be notified in advance before shipment. Overlimit single parcels will incur over-length & over-weight handling fees. For large cargo, please confirm that the consignee has forklifts and unloading equipment. If the consignee lacks unloading facilities, high manual unloading and re-delivery charges will be generated, all of which shall be borne by the shipper.
Reference standard for regular parcels: Longest side ＜100cm, second longest side ＜60cm, third side ＜60cm; actual weight ≤30KG. Parcels exceeding above limits will incur handling fees per piece. Single parcels with actual weight ≥70KG must use trucking channel, and the specific cost shall be confirmed per shipment.
Full-process visible tracking is available for Taiwan dedicated line. From domestic pickup, trunk transportation, port customs inspection, last-mile delivery to final signature, customers can query cargo transit routes, logistics milestones and shipment status in real time under one tracking number with transparent information and timely updates, allowing customers to monitor cargo status anytime.
Export Customs Declaration for Tax Rebate: Supports formal customs declaration under general trade. ECFA Certificate of Origin can be applied for tariff reduction benefits, with dedicated customs declaration specialists for coordination.
DDP Tax Payment Service: Taxes and business tax for Taiwan are paid collectively by our side under DDP channel; taxes under DDU channel shall be paid by the consignee.
Pre-review of Customs Documents: Professional team assists pre-review of invoices, packing lists and authorization documents to reduce inspection risks.
Wooden Packing Treatment: Log and bamboo products require ISPM15 fumigation. Plywood wooden cases shall facilitate customs unpacking inspection.
Cargo Insurance: Commercial cargo insurance solutions are available. Insurance is recommended for high-value goods to mitigate transportation risks.
(1) Taiwan customs carries out strict inspections. You must truthfully declare commodity name, material, quantity and cargo value before shipment. Under-declaration, misdeclaration and concealment are prohibited. Confirm battery specifications in advance for battery-powered goods and provide authorization documents for branded goods. For DDU shipments, remind the consignee to complete EZ-WAY real-name authentication; otherwise customs clearance cannot proceed.
(2) Wooden and bamboo goods must complete fumigation in compliance with Taiwan quarantine requirements. Non-compliant handling may lead to cargo seizure and return risks.
(3) We shall not be liable for compensation of transit delays caused by force majeure, including but not limited to flight/vessel cancellation, port congestion, extreme weather such as typhoons, customs inspection at cross-strait ports and customs policy adjustment.
(4) For returned shipments caused by consignee refusal, warehouse overstock in Taiwan, invalid delivery address, unsuccessful signature, consignee failure to complete real-name authentication and other non-logistics reasons, all costs including return fees, redelivery fees and warehousing detention charges shall be borne by the shipper and settled on an actual cost basis.
(5) For orders bound for eastern mountainous areas and outlying islands of Penghu and Kinmen, confirm all additional surcharges before shipment. Confirm unloading conditions for large pallet cargo. (6) Outer cartons must be sturdy and solid; shipping labels must be fully and firmly affixed. It is recommended to print or paste "Made in China" on outer cartons for easy customs identification.
