DDP Tax-Inclusive Channel: Covers full customs clearance, duties, VAT and all related taxes. Clients do not need to handle local Romanian customs procedures or destination-country tax matters. One-stop service until final receipt, compliant and worry-free with zero operational pressure, suitable for most cross-border e-commerce shipping scenarios.
DDU Tax-Exclusive Channel: Offers dual customs clearance for Romania plus nationwide end delivery. Duties, VAT and all relevant taxes incurred in the destination country shall be borne by the consignee. It meets the demands of local enterprises for independent tax declaration and compliant VAT deferral. Customs data is traceable with high compliance, enabling free movement of goods within the EU.
Core Delivery Scenarios: Supports dedicated delivery to mainstream overseas warehouses including Amazon FBA warehouses, local e-commerce warehouses and third-party overseas stocking warehouses in Romania. Air Freight + Final Delivery: Total transit time 5–12 days. Ultra-fast transport channel focusing on efficient stock replenishment, suitable for urgent orders, emergency restocking for out-of-stock goods and expedited shipment of small samples. Airport customs clearance is efficient with timely updates of logistics milestones.
Trucking + Final Delivery: Total transit time 25–30 days. Cost-effective main channel with stable lead time and low cost, suitable for regular bulk e-commerce stocking and daily foreign trade shipments to Romania. It can rapidly cover neighbouring Southeast European countries including Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia and Moldova.
Railway + Final Delivery: Total transit time 30–35 days. Advantageous transport channel for Romania. Supported by stable capacity of China-Europe Railway Express, it is barely affected by weather and port congestion, with low inspection rate and few delays. Ideal for bulk general goods and regular mass shipments, offering far better cost performance than ordinary Southeast Europe dedicated lines.
Sea Freight + Final Delivery: Total transit time 45–50 days. Low-cost economical channel. Supported by Constanța, the core deep-water Black Sea port, it has abundant vessel space, low freight rates and stable navigation, suitable for large, heavy goods and bulk non-urgent stocking shipments for the Romanian market.
Acceptable Cargo Types: Regular general goods, various common battery-powered products and mainstream cross-border e-commerce goods can be accepted, meeting most export shipment requirements to Romania and complying with local Romanian import regulatory rules.
Weight Range: 0.5KG – 3000KG, covering small samples, medium & large single packages, bulk heavy cargo and full mass consignments. It fits both small and bulk shipment scenarios, satisfying demands for e-commerce parcels and full foreign trade shipments.
The last-mile network of Romania Dedicated Line adopts premium leading European logistics resources, combined with Romania’s dense and sound local delivery network. It features high nationwide coverage, consistent delivery schedule, high signature rate and extremely low loss rate. Our primary delivery partners include DPD, DHL, UPS and professional local Romanian trucking teams. The optimal delivery method will be intelligently matched based on cargo size, weight and delivery region.
Delivery Coverage: Fully covers major Romanian cities including Bucharest, Constanța, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara and Iași, as well as commercial zones, industrial parks, private residences and overseas warehouse addresses nationwide. Towns and counties across the country can be delivered compliantly.
Remote Area Rules: Core urban areas in Romania enjoy sound logistics infrastructure and high standardised delivery. Only a tiny number of remote mountainous sites and minor border locations may incur remote surcharges. You may consult us before shipment to avoid extra costs effectively.
DPD is the primary last-mile carrier for Romania dedicated line. Parcels exceeding dimension, weight or girth limits will incur extra handling fees or be rejected directly. Unified enforcement standards are as follows: Dimension Standards Standard compliant size: Longest side ＜100cm, second longest side ＜60cm, third longest side ＜60cm; Oversize surcharge: Parcels exceeding standard size but not reaching rejection threshold, +CNY 350 handling fee per piece; Hard rejection rule: Any single side ≥160cm will be rejected.
Weight Standards Standard compliant weight: Actual weight ≤30KG (24KG for partial countries), volumetric weight ≤35KG; Overweight surcharge: If actual weight exceeds 30KG (24KG) or volumetric weight exceeds 35KG, +CNY 350 handling fee per piece; Hard rejection rule: Actual weight ≥40KG will be rejected.
Circumference & Girth Limits Circumference compliance: Length + Width + Height ＜2.3m; Girth compliance: Length + 2×(Width + Height) ＜3m; Oversize girth fee: If girth exceeds 3m, charges will be settled based on actual costs (200–1500 GBP, subject to the carrier’s official invoice of current period); Hard rejection rule: Girth (Length + 2×(Width + Height)) ≥400cm will be rejected.
Full-cycle visual tracking for Romania dedicated line. Real-time query of cargo transit route, logistics milestones and cargo status is available from domestic pickup, mainline transport, port customs inspection to last-mile delivery and final signature. One tracking number for the whole shipment with transparent and timely updated information, enabling clients to monitor cargo status in real time.
Greece serves as a core customs clearance node in Southern Europe and ranks among the four European countries with difficult customs clearance (Romania, Greece, Portugal, Bulgaria), with a relatively high probability of secondary customs clearance. Cargo transiting within the EU also faces a high risk of secondary clearance. In case of secondary customs clearance, all resulting fees including customs duties, warehousing fees, return and redelivery fees shall be borne by the client.
For shipments under DDU tax-exclusive mode, clients must provide valid own VAT and EORI numbers. Formal Romanian customs declaration cannot proceed without compliant tax IDs. To apply for duty deferral, full sets of compliant documents must be submitted strictly in accordance with our requirements. A 3% duty handling fee will be charged for orders without prepaid duties.
Duty deferral service is not 100% guaranteed. If deferral application fails, customs clearance will automatically switch to duty payment mode. Final tax amount is subject to Romanian customs invoice. The deferral tax ID must fully match the declared tax ID, and product sales links must align precisely with the VAT number. Sales links cannot be modified arbitrarily before customs clearance. For DDU shipments and PVA deferral goods, inspection fees incurred during customs examination will be charged at actual cost. Do not place orders if you disagree with this clause.
We shall not be liable for compensation of transit delays caused by force majeure, including but not limited to cancelled flights/vessels/trains, port rail transfer congestion, extreme weather, customs inspection at domestic and overseas ports, EU policy adjustments, sea navigation control, etc.
Returns caused by non-logistics reasons such as consignee refusal, overstock at Amazon warehouses in Romania, invalid delivery address, unsuccessful receipt and incorrect consignee information. All resulting fees including return fees, second delivery fees and warehousing detention fees shall be borne by the shipper and settled based on actual costs.
Customized logistics plans for single shipments are available for special cargo types, oversize/overweight goods, bulk custom orders and complex logistics demands in the Romanian market to meet personalized shipping requirements one-on-one.
