SINO Logistics New Zealand Dedicated Line is a one-stop cross-border logistics solution for cross-border e-commerce merchants and foreign trade enterprises. It integrates multi-mode transportation, dual customs clearance & tax inclusive service, nationwide delivery and multi-warehouse handover, catering to shipment demands with different transit times, cargo types and delivery scenarios. The standardized and categorized business terms are as follows:
Warm Reminder: Airlines impose special requirements and different pricing for wooden crate & pallet cargo exceeding 120CM×80CM×80CM or with single package weight over 68KG. Please consult our sales representative for quotation before shipment. For formally declared cargo, consultation is required prior to dispatch. Additional Note: SINO Logistics and its cooperating operation centers reserve the right to inspect shipments, and the final right to determine and modify transport routes. Before cargo handover, please carefully read and understand all channel specifications and remarks to reasonably avoid or bear corresponding risks and prevent unnecessary troubles in the future!
The whole channel supports New Zealand DDP dual customs clearance and tax inclusive service.
Important Notice: Quotation excludes destination remote surcharges, fines, warehousing fees, return fees and destruction fees incurred by the consignee. If the consignee refuses payment, such fees shall automatically be borne by the shipper (company), and the shipper shall not refuse payment for any reason.
New Zealand Tax Related: Customs clearance fees, duties and inspection fees shall be borne by the shipper or consignee. (1) Customs Declaration Fee: For cargo value between 400‑1000 NZD, customs handling fee RMB350. If cargo value exceeds 1000 NZD, customs will levy 15% GST on the total order value plus a secondary customs clearance fee of RMB700. (2) If more than 5 declared commodity names are listed for one parcel, an extra RMB25 will be charged for each additional commodity name. (3) Food Surcharge: Parcels containing food products incur a food surcharge of RMB100 per shipment. Consult customer service in advance for food import; otherwise all resulting costs shall be borne by the client. (4) MPI (Ministry for Primary Industries) Inspection Attendance Fee: RMB200 per shipment for document-only review; RMB600 per shipment for on-site warehouse inspection by MPI. If MPI orders destruction, destruction fee RMB350 per shipment; other destruction related fees quoted separately. (5) Customs inspection attendance fee RMB300 per shipment. If customs raises queries and requests separate customs declaration regardless of cargo value, handling fee RMB550 per shipment. (6) Wooden Goods Control: New Zealand implements a high inspection rate for wooden products. Fumigation certificate must be provided for all wooden goods such as wooden handicrafts and makeup brushes before shipment.
Delivery Scenarios: Delivery available to e-commerce overseas warehouses, non-e-commerce warehouses, local New Zealand corporate addresses and residential addresses nationwide. Destination delivery only covers ground-floor warehouse drop-off, no upstairs service. For residential addresses and upstairs office premises, any special fees incurred will be reimbursed on actual basis.
Three core channels including air freight, small-cargo sea express and bulk sea freight are available according to clients’ timeline and budget, with stable and tiered transit times:
(1) Price Note: All quotations are denominated in RMB. Fuel surcharge is currently 0%, but subject to irregular adjustment per airline updates. Monthly fuel surcharge follows the announcement on our official website. (2) Billing Rules: Chargeable weight is the greater value between volumetric weight and actual weight. Volumetric formula: (Length×Width×Height in CM) ÷6000. Priority air cargo is billed as per airport weighing slip without volume-weight conversion. (3) Basic size & weight requirements for air freight single package: weight below 25kg, volume less than 0.125 CBM, length less than 1.5m. If any condition is met: single package＞25kg OR volume＞0.125 CBM OR length＞1.5m, oversize & overweight surcharge RMB180 per piece applies. (4) Pallet & Wooden Crate Requirements: Cargo over 70KG per piece must be fitted with pallet feet mounted on wide or long sides. Pallet feet fitted on narrow or short sides are not accepted. Base boards must be nailed to the bottom of pallet feet. Wooden crates shall be fitted with hinges for convenient customs inspection.
(1) Billing Standard: Chargeable value is the greater of volumetric weight and actual weight. Volumetric formula: (Length×Width×Height in CM) ÷6000. (2) Oversize & Overweight Surcharges: ① Auckland Delivery: RMB200 per shipment if single package actual weight＞30kg OR single side＞3.5m OR volume＞0.5 CBM. ② North Island Delivery: RMB200 per shipment if single package actual weight＞25kg OR single side＞1.5m OR volume＞0.125 CBM. ③ South Island Delivery: RMB400 per shipment if single package actual weight＞25kg OR single side＞1.5m OR volume＞0.125 CBM.
Warm Reminder: Our company rejects sensitive goods such as tobacco and alcohol. Anyone who deliberately ships prohibited goods will be fined RMB5,000 and referred to judicial authorities. If cigarettes are seized, a fine of RMB5,000 will be imposed and the case will be reported to the police.
(1) Billing Standard: Minimum billing volume 1 CBM; shipments less than 1 CBM are charged as 1 CBM. Additional volume is billed based on actual measurement. Weight limit: 300KG per CBM. For overweight cargo: Actual weight ÷300KG = chargeable CBM. (2) Customs Declaration: Separate customs declaration is unavailable for LCL cargo; available for FCL shipments. (3) Oversize & Overweight Surcharges: ① Single side 120CM‑199CM / chargeable weight 70KG‑99KG / volume 0.5CBM‑0.99CBM: RMB250 per piece if any condition satisfied. ② Single side 200CM‑249CM / chargeable weight 100KG‑299KG / volume 1CBM‑1.99CBM: RMB350 per piece if any condition satisfied. ③ Single side 250CM‑299CM / chargeable weight 300KG‑499KG / volume 2CBM‑2.99CBM: RMB450 per piece if any condition satisfied.

This dedicated line covers all regions across North Island and South Island. Delivery is available for commercial addresses, residential premises and major e-commerce warehouses. The South Island incurs higher surcharges for large cargo than Auckland and North Island.
We refuse counterfeit goods, liquids, powders, food, live products, medicines, flammable & explosive goods, corrosives, optical discs, arms and weapons and other items restricted by IATA (International Air Transport Association). If such goods are shipped without prior notification and detained, confiscated or returned during security screening, we shall not be liable. Freight will still be charged and all fines shall be borne by the client.
Rejected goods: meat & meat products, fresh milk & dairy products, eggs & egg products, bee products, animal feed, seeds, rare flora & fauna and related products, medicinal animal derivatives, freshwater fish & products, plants & plant products, fruit peels, fruit tea & black wolfberry, soil & biological cultures, Chinese & western medicines, cigarettes & tobacco shreds, e-cigarettes & e-liquid, pharmaceuticals, hazardous liquids, standalone lithium batteries (batteries not pre-installed inside equipment), counterfeit goods, flammable and explosive dangerous goods and all commodities prohibited for import under New Zealand customs regulations.
Note: Fumigation certificate must be provided for wooden products before shipment; otherwise customs inspection will likely be triggered and substantial fees incurred.
Top-tier local New Zealand logistics partners are used for stable delivery and high signature rates. Optimal delivery method will be matched based on regions (Auckland / North Island / South Island) and cargo types.
Delivery only to ground floor of consignee premises; loading/unloading and upstairs service are not included. For residential and upstairs office addresses, all special fees incurred will be reimbursed on actual basis.
Surcharges for oversize and overweight cargo to South Island are higher than Auckland and North Island. Cost calculation must be completed before shipment.
The shipper shall be responsible for packaging safety. No compensation will be offered for cargo damage, partial loss or delay caused by inadequate packaging. No compensation for breakage of fragile goods.
Cargo must be packed with waterproof protection. If packaging service is requested from our team: carton RMB10/pc, waterproof packaging RMB10/piece. Wooden crate and pallet fabrication fees are charged based on actual cost.
Quotation includes invoicing service (transport invoice, service invoice etc.).
The whole logistics journey and real-time cargo status can be tracked.
(1) Clients shall purchase insurance independently for precious and high-value goods. Insurance service is not available via our company. (2) Our company shall not bear any liability for cargo detention caused by inconsistent declared information submitted by the shipper against actual goods. All incurred costs shall be borne by the client. (3) In case of cargo loss or severe man-made damage during transit, compensation will be three times the freight, with maximum compensation not exceeding RMB600 per shipment. Secure packaging must be arranged by the shipper. No compensation for general cargo damage or breakage of fragile goods.
① Our company shall not bear any liability for cargo detention caused by inconsistent declared information submitted by the shipper against actual goods. All incurred costs shall be borne by the client. ② In case of cargo loss or severe man-made damage during transit, compensation will be three times the freight, with maximum compensation not exceeding RMB600 per shipment. Secure packaging must be arranged by the shipper. No compensation for cargo damage or breakage of fragile goods. Damage to food eaten or gnawed by rats in the warehouse is not eligible for compensation.
Force Majeure Disclaimer: We will not compensate for transit delays caused by force majeure including flight cancellation, vessel schedule adjustment, port congestion, extreme weather, inspection by New Zealand Customs / MPI, domestic and overseas security detention. Special Statement: SINO Logistics reserves the final interpretation right of all above terms. Shipment consignment confirms acceptance of all listed terms.
Clients must truthfully declare cargo information. Fumigation certificates for wooden goods and pre-shipment consultation with customer service for food shipments are mandatory. All liabilities and fees arising from inspection, cargo detention and fines due to false declaration or missing fumigation certificates shall be borne by the shipper.
No compensation for transit delays caused by force majeure including flight cancellation, sea schedule adjustment, port congestion, extreme weather, New Zealand port inspection and domestic & overseas security detention!
For returns triggered by failed last-mile delivery or consignee refusal, all return handling fees and redelivery charges shall be borne by the shipper and settled on actual basis!
Outer cartons must be sturdy with proper waterproof protection to prevent cargo damage in transit. Labels must be intact and firmly attached. All costs arising from undeliverable shipments due to blurred, missing or damaged labels shall be borne by the shipper. For smooth customs clearance, “Made in China” mark must be clearly printed or pasted on all outer packages.
Shipping prohibited goods such as tobacco, alcohol and items banned by New Zealand import regulations is strictly forbidden. Violators will be fined and reported to judicial authorities / police once detected.
For non-standard cargo types, special oversize dimensions, bulk customized logistics plans, complex inspection orders, South Island oversize cargo and special wooden product shipments, separate inquiry can be submitted per shipment for confirmation.
